Portunes is a Roman God and the God of Locked Doors, either sealing doors or allowing them to open. He has a particular rivalry with Cardea, the God of Door Hinges, in Mount Olympus. Their arguing will often disturb the other Terran Deities.

History[]

When arguing with Cardea, the Goddess of Door Hinges, over which of them is the superior door deity, Zeus, the king of the Greek Gods, sent Priapus to ask the two to stop arguing and disturbing everyone else. As soon as Priapus draws close the two of them, shocked by the phallic-appearance of Priapus, are stunned into silence. Task accomplished, Priapus left[Pan 1].
