The Hero Force One Story largely came about to accommodate the more potent and absurdly powerful aspects that had grown within the Never-ending Story and Never-ending Story2, using the more powerful Hero Force One team instead of the NeS Heroes as the story's protagonists. The team awoke to discover that the Earth had disappeared, though they would later learn that it was they - and an entire area of the galaxy - that had been moved.
